11th International Workshop on Vocabularies, Ontologies and Rules for the Enterprise
Vocabularies, ontologies, and business rules are key components of a model-driven approach to enterprise computing in a networked economy. VORTE intends to bring together researchers and practitioners in areas such as formal ontology, enterprise modeling, information systems, semantic web, model-driven engineering, business rules, and business process management. The goal of the workshop is to discuss the role that (foundational and domain) ontologies/vocabularies and business rules play in the conceptual design and implementation of next-generation enterprise solutions.

The International Workshop towards Digital Governance Design
With blockchain, we have entered the age of computational trust, in which network orchestration is possible without a trusted third party. Without a trusted third party, a self-organizing ecosystem requires a decentralized design approach. Digital currencies, at first glance, may seem to be a decentralized ecosystem in which peers interact directly with each other. However, the decision making within these so-called decentralized ecosystems is centrally orchestrated and, also, it is not transparent. Fundamental design decisions need to be approached from different angles. Concepts like: a democracy functioning under the rule of law for states, corporate governance for businesses, member participation in associations, can now perhaps also be caught in formal, executable models as smart contracts. This would require a Decentralized Governance Design approach, determining the structure of how decisions are taken, executed and computationally supported within the ecosystem.
ITSS-2022: International Workshop on the Internet of Things and Smart Services
While industries and corporations have acknowledged the importance of Web 2.0 and started integrating Web 2.0 in their business processes, they have made only limited contributions to the burgeoning knowledge in Web 3.0. Over the last decade, various technologies have moved to the qualitatively new phase of development. Mobile wireless communications, new data retrieval and new data processing techniques have been introduced. All of that with the Internet of Everything paradigm and customer-centric approach formed a new concept of the Smart Services. Smart Services concept means that soon we might have fully globalized services that would allow business to transform according to a new step of globalization considering customer-centric approach and digital economy based on data. Pandemic situation showed us how important Smart Services are in terms of supporting us in our everyday activities.
ITSS2022 is an international workshop on advances in theory, applications and different approaches to using IoT and Smart Services. This workshop is about business transformation due to digital economy implementation and about new types of services and innovative business models stemming from the high impact of IoT and data-based services as the next step in globalization including new strategy and recommendations on Digital Economy by WEF.
